Stained Glass Window Art

October 24-25 • 9:00am-12:00pm
Location: Groundworks Art Lab, 3750 Canfield Street, Boulder, CO 80301

Using beautiful stained glass, we will create a stained-glass window of mosaics. Come enjoy a morning of creativity using materials I have collected from many locales. All skills welcome as glass cutting techniques, attachment and grouting techniques will be taught.

This workshop will be taught over two 3-hour sessions, October 24 - 25, 9am - noon (Second day is optional)

All skill levels are welcome

Ages 16+; Children ages 10-16 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. One adult per child, and each adult and child needs to register separately.

All supplies will be provided; just come have fun!
 


Jewelry Making with Micro-Mosaics

November 20 • 9:00am-12:00pm
Location: Groundworks Art Lab, 3750 Canfield Street, Boulder, CO 80301

Come make some unique jewelry with micro-mosaic. You can use beads, millefiori, shells, old jewelry, stained glass and pretty much anything else.  Come enjoy a morning of creativity using materials the artist-instructos has collected from many locales and feel free to bring your own additions.  Everyone will leave with their choice of a necklace and a pair of earrings.

All skill levels are welcome!

Ages 16+; Children ages 8-16 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. One adult per child, and each adult and child needs to register separately.

All supplies will be provided; just come have fun!
 


Mosaics Made with Items Found Here, There and Everywhere


December 4 • 9:00am-12:00pm
Location: Groundworks Art Lab, 3750 Canfield Street, Boulder, CO 80301

Come and join mosaic artist, Betsy Hicks, for a fun morning of play with a new mosaic techniques that you can complete in one day! We will mix mortar in your choice of color.

Modern day mosaics can use beads, shells, beer lids, jewelry, broken pottery, slate, glass and pretty much anything else. Come enjoy a morning of creativity using materials the artist-instructor has collected from many locales and feel free to bring your own additions. Everyone will leave with an original mosaic and the skills to make many more.

All skill levels welcome.

For ages 16+; Children 8-16 are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Separate registrations need to made for both the adult and the child.

All supplies will be provided; just come have fun!

Family Art Time
November 21 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm MST
Location:  East Side Art Institute Campus, 10500 Isabelle Rd., Lafayette, CO

Fee: $25,  Limited to 10 families

Family Art Time – All ages welcome!  Come enjoy a creative family playtime with mosaics. There will be lots of fun materials available and choices of things to make:  Jewelry, Picture Frames, or Refrigerator Magnets. Come join the wonderful East Side Art Institute community and enjoy playing for an hour!
